Natalie Courtney began her yoga journey in NYC and Los Angeles while working in the art and museum field. It was a time in her life where she felt the need to become flexible, strong and disciplined.
When she moved overseas to Okinawa, Japan she realized there was much more to the practice and embraced the life of a yogi with deep meditation, devotion and study. Her physical practice became more meditative, full of clarity and healing. With her daily practice it became clear that it was not only changing her physically but mentally as well. That was the beginning of her journey on her path to peace.
She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Okinawa, Japan through Yoga Power Shanti Enrichment Series. When she returned to the US, she embarked on additional studies to integrate therapeutic cooking into her offerings through Bauman College as a Therapeutic Chef.
In 2013 she completed her 500 hour yoga training through the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina; and continued her studies completing the KRI Level 1 220hr Kundalini Teacher training. Natalie is also a certified sound healing practitioner.
